Goodyear, Jan. 13, 1849, and concerns the California gold discoveries. The third is from Enos Foote, dictated to William Goodyear Mar. 29, 1855 from Benicia, California, and is about the city and its prospects. A fourth letter, to William Goodyear from Andrew Goodyear in Sacramento and dated Dec. 2, 1849 announces the death of their brother Miles.
